# I Feel Wild

*I do not move gracefully.* 

*I’ve never been compared* 

*to* FLOWING WATER 

*or* DANCING LIGHT*.* 

*I move like the sky is falling.* 

*I move with jarring urgency* 

*and the force of* 10,000 *hearts.* 

*I feel calculated with intention* 

*And reckless with execution.* 

**I feel wild*.*** 

*But I am learning, that this* 

*limiting* PERCEPTION *sees* 

*through control-seeking eyes.* 

*It is fighting back perfectionist* 

*ways that wish to* SOOTHE A HEART

*that felt inadequate.* 

*It is heavy with the* WEIGHT 

OF WORDS *and wounds that* 

*I’m not meant to carry.* 

*so instead of moving gracefully,* 

*I am moving with grace.*
